Setup

Keyboard

• Keyboard shortcuts
• F2 - show time for 5 seconds (main Batocera menu and in game)
• F3 - enable/disable screen reader
• F4 - reboot Batocera
• F5 - updates it
• SPACE - shows BATOCERA's main menu
• ENTER - select itens
• ESC - goes back

Bluetooth pairing

Via GUI:

Keyboard layout

Switching the Keyboard layout is not working

Edit ~/userdata/systemsettings/batocera.conf and set:

system.kblayout
system.kbvariant

(Note: Using de/nodeadkeys doesn't fix the layout...)

Updates

• Upgrading/downgrading Batocera

Upgrading successfully only works in GUI mode, not in manual mode !

Manual upgrade:

batocera-upgrade https://batocera.org/upgrades/x86_64/stable/last

• Manual update issue:
  • need to download 3308mb; Not enough space on /boot to download the update
  • /boot is only 4 GB big, while /userdata (partition 2) is 55 GB big
